The CURT 5th wheel hitch lock #23256 provides the best possible security for your 5th wheel hitch because it is uniquely design for 5th wheel hitches and only 5th wheel hitches. It is not like standard hitch locks or coupler locks. It has two key features that make it particular unique and highly specialized for 5th wheel security: an extra-long pin and a zero-clearance body shape. The hitch pin used by the CURT 5th wheel hitch lock features a 1/2" diameter to fit all industry-standard 5th wheel base rails. However, unlike common hitch locks, this 1/2" pin has an extended length, allowing it to easily pass through a 5th wheel rail and leg anchor, locking the hitch into the truck bed.
